dsc_0651Persons with stained or discolored teeth can benefit from whitening procedures. Whitening is one of the simplest and affordable cosmetic dental procedures.

Your teeth will darken over time. Changes in the color of your teeth can be caused by such factors as the food and beverages consumed (like coffee, tea, and soda.) Other known factors for discoloration may include childhood medications or illnesses, tobacco use or improper oral hygiene. Restoring your natural white smile is a priority for our team.

How does bleaching work?

We’ll make an impression of your teeth during your first visit. Using this impression, a custom bleaching tray will be created to perfectly fit your teeth. When you’re ready, you’ll place a small amount of the bleaching compound in the tray and place the tray over your teeth. You should wear the tray as directed by Dr. Keith.

It’s important to remember that bleaching cannot remove all stains and dental restorations will not bleach.

If you’re interested in teeth whitening, Dr. Keith can discuss your particular case and determine if you an ideal candidate for bleaching.
